Who we are
Conveyancing Explained is published by Play Forge Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 24 668 726 645), 365 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000. We are an independent information resource. We are not a law firm, a conveyancing firm, or a licensed conveyancer.
Editorial standards
Every guide on this site is written to answer the specific questions NSW property buyers and sellers actually ask, in plain English, with the legal and regulatory rules cited directly from primary sources. We do not publish information we cannot trace to an authoritative source.
Our primary sources include:
- Revenue NSW (transfer duty, First Home Buyer Assistance Scheme, grants and exemptions)
- NSW Fair Trading (cooling-off rights, property sale rules, licensee obligations)
- The Conveyancing Act 1919 (NSW) and the Conveyancing (Sale of Land) Regulation 2022
- Conveyancers Licensing Act 2003 (NSW)
- Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (NSW) (for s10.7 planning certificates)
